A combined pulley and fan, e.g. for a motor vehicle dynamo, comprises a sheet-metal pressing 1 welded to a boss 2 to form the pulley, and a fan 4 of a thermoplastics material cast on to a flange 6 of the pulley. The fan enfolds the flange 6, which has embossed portions or perforations 7 to ensure a firm bond between the pulley and the fan, which latter may have aerofoil section or flat radial blades 5.
