Abstract

1,007,530. Electric chain hoist. HEINRICH DE FRIES, G.m.b.H. April 24, 1963 [Aug. 17, 1962], No. 16152/63. Heading B8B. [Also in Division H2] The housing 1, Fig. 1, for an electric chain hoist has a bore 30 in which the electric motor stator 7 is secured by adhesives. The housing also has supports for bearings 4, 13 and 19 of the armature 6, reduction gears 5, 16 and chain wheel 15. The bearing 9 for one end of the motor armature 6 is disposed in a detachable cover 10. Annular recesses are provided for the adhesive as by enlarging the bore at 32 over part of the length of the motor stator and by bevelling one end of the stator as at 35, the arrangement permitting the stator to be accurately centred.
