Abstract

1,067,829. Laminates; injection moulding articles of luggage. S J. HOLTZMAN. Dec. 10, 1963 [Nov. 1, 1963], No. 48803/63. Headings B5A and B5N. The subject matter of this Specification is substantially identical with that of Specification 1,067,830 but the thermoplastic moulding composition is polypropylene. As shown, fabrics 30, 32 are bonded to an injection moulded layer P of polypropylene, bonding being achieved during the injection-moulding process and by means of the composition of the layer P. 'The fabrics may be woven or knitted and of vegetable, animal or synthetic resin fibres. Preferably, the fabric is woven from polypropylene fibres.
