Abstract

1,057,889. Multi-storey motels. M. WESTON. Nov. 25, 1963 [Dec. 13, 1962], No. 47127/62. Heading EIA. A multi-storey building such as a Motel comprises a vertical load-conveying skirt structure defining an inner well and a row of columns 2 surrounding the skirt structure and jointly supporting therewith a helical car park, floors I, II and III, and a superimposed enclosed structure-floors IV.. VIII. A single enclosed structure may be superimposed above three multi-storey helical car parks or three enclosed structures may be superimposed above a single multi-storey helical car park suitably dimensioned, see Figs. 14 and 15 (not shown), respectively. For architectural layout involving parking, shopping, toilet, restaurant and other amenities together with arrangement of bedrooms, service accommodation, access passages and stairways &c. the Specification remaining drawings (not shown) should be referred to.
