Abstract
1,047,274. Display devices. HILL BROS. (SERVICE) Ltd. March 26, 1965 [April 7, 1964], No. 14354/64. Heading G5C. Rear projections on a letter 15 are held by opposed faces of transverse incisions 22 in a foamed plastics layer 20. The incisions may extend only part way through the layer 20, which may be coloured by paint or flock or faced with a layer 21 of felt. The layer 20 may be bent to the shape of drum and have a flexible backing or, as shown, have a rigid backing of plastics or hardboard.
