Description

The present invention relates to a signboard decoration and a signboard decoration method that can be attached and detached to existing signs, and in particular to a signboard decoration and a signboard decoration method that can be used in different ways depending on the usage scene, such as the purpose, budget, or installation environment.

Signboards are a powerful tool for attracting customers or increasing attention. Therefore, it is desirable to have multiple signs prepared according to the purpose, installation environment, season, etc. However, the economic burden of preparing multiple signs is large.

Small and medium-sized stores, in particular, have limited budgets for signs. As a result, they have no choice but to use standardized signs or ordinary signs designed in a rectangular shape.

The use of the signs disclosed in Patent Documents 1 to 4 can increase the level of attention. However, in order to create a unique sign that is suited to the purpose, installation environment, season, etc., it is necessary to prepare multiple signs that correspond to the desired usage scenarios. Therefore, it is not possible to reduce the economic burden.

The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a signboard decoration and a signboard decoration method that can be used in different ways depending on the usage scene.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a signboard decoration body and a signboard decoration method that can utilize an existing signboard while providing decoration suited to the usage scene.

The present invention has the following configuration:

(1) A signboard decoration made of resin with a desired design that can be attached and detached to the outer periphery of a signboard body having an advertising board that displays advertisements.

(2) A plate-shaped resin sign decoration with a desired design that can be detachably attached to the outer periphery of a rectangular freestanding sign body having a translucent advertising board for displaying advertisements, a base for mounting the advertising board, and an internally installed light source.

(3) A method of decorating a signboard in which a resin sign decoration with a desired design is detachably attached to the outer periphery of a signboard body having an advertising board that displays advertisements.

According to the present invention, it is possible to carry out billboard advertising according to the usage scene without preparing multiple billboards.

The signboard decoration (hereinafter referred to as "decoration") 100 of this embodiment is removably attached to the outer periphery 200a of the signboard body 200.

That is, the decorative body 100 is formed from a resin, for example, a thermoplastic resin such as FRP (fiber reinforced plastic), ABS resin, a resin foam such as foamed plastic, or hard silicon. In particular, a lightweight resin is preferably used.
When viewed from the front (the side opposite the surface displaying the advertisement on the advertising board 220), the decorative body 100 has a rounded rectangular outer periphery and an open U-shape at the bottom.
The decorative body 100 has a predetermined thickness (thickness M) and has a front part, a back part, a top part, a right side part, a left side part, and a bottom part. The front part 100a (corresponding to the front side of the wood) and the back part 100b (corresponding to the back side of the wood) are each decorated with a desired design (including letters, symbols, figures, and patterns).

It is preferable to prepare multiple decorative bodies 100 with designs on the front portion 100a and back portion 100b that match the usage scene. In addition, the mounting portion 120 is equipped with an L-shaped metal fitting (not shown) as a reinforcement when mounting to the sign body 200.

The signboard body 200 has a translucent advertising board 220 that is rectangular in plan view. A planar advertisement is displayed on the advertising board 220. The signboard body 200 also has a base 240 for installation on the lower part 200b, and functions as a freestanding signboard. The signboard body 200 also has a light source (not shown) built in, and functions as an illuminated signboard.

The operation of the above configuration will be explained.

First, the decorative body 100 is attached to the signboard body 200 so that the outer periphery 200a of the signboard body 200 is positioned on the inner periphery 120a of the attachment portion 120 (see step S410 in FIG. 4).
Here, the decorative part 120 and the signboard body 200 have a relationship of SL=ML, SW=MW. Therefore, the inner periphery 120a of the mounting part 120 is pressed toward the outer periphery 200a of the signboard body 200 so as to enclose the signboard body 200 and is fitted in. This allows the decorative body 100 to be attached to the signboard body 200. At this time, the inner periphery 120a of the mounting part 120 is fitted in as if against the force of the outer periphery 200a of the signboard body 200 directed outward. In other words, the resin decorative body 100 has more elasticity than the metal outer periphery 200a. Therefore, the mounting part 120 is mounted on the outer periphery 200a of the signboard body 200 by being pushed outward.

After the decorative body 100 is attached to the signboard body 200, if necessary, the decorative body 100 and the surface of the signboard body 200 having the advertising board 220 are screwed together using the included L-shaped metal fittings (step S420). This makes the decorative body 100 and the signboard body 200 firmly attached.

When removing the decorative body 100 attached to the signboard body 200, first remove the L-shaped metal fittings that secure the decorative body 100 to the signboard body 200 (step S430).

Then, the decorative body 100 is pulled out from the sign body 200 to release the pressure contact between the inner periphery 120a of the mounting portion 120 and the outer periphery 200a of the sign body 200, and the two are separated. This allows the decorative body 100 to be removed from the sign body 200 (step S440).

If a new decorative body 100 is to be attached to the sign body 200 (Y in step S450), the process from step S420 onward described above can be carried out.

According to the above embodiment, the decorative body 100 can be attached and detached to the signboard body 200 according to the usage scene such as the purpose, installation environment, or season, making it possible to use one signboard in different ways. In addition, by using the attractive and innovative decorative body 100 and the signboard body 200, it is possible to expect increased attention and a wide range of customer attraction effects.

Furthermore, according to the above embodiment, the decorative body 100 can be made with an extremely simple structure, and can be formed using resin that is easily available. This makes it possible to provide a decorative body that is excellent both economically and in terms of productivity. In addition, there is no need to prepare multiple signs to accommodate various usage scenarios, which reduces the environmental burden and contributes to the SDGs.

Furthermore, because the decorative body 100 can be made of resin, it is possible to provide a decorative body 100 that is lightweight, easy to carry, easy to store, and highly durable.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the invention.

Specifically, the decorative body may be made of a resin other than FRP, thermoplastic resin, resin foam, or hard silicone resin.
The shape of the decorative body may be other than U-shaped, so long as the decorative body can be detachably attached to the outer periphery of the signboard body. The same goes for the shape of the attachment part. The size of the attachment part does not have to be the same shape or size (area) as the planar shape of the signboard body, so long as the decorative body can be detachably attached to the outer periphery of the signboard body.
