Abstract

1,045,015. Inflatable craft. R. FRYDLENDER. Jan. 22, 1964, No. 2757/64. Heading B7A. A boat 1 (Figs. 1-3, not shown), comprises a plurality of inflatable floats 2a, 2b and a base 9, the floats when inflated being substantially cylindrical in cross-section and when resting on the water supporting the base above the surface of the water, the profile of at least a part of the length of the lower part of each float being modified so that when inflated, that part comprises a base surface 3a, 3b between two side surfaces, the base surface being in section rectilinear or of greater radius than the circular part of the section of the float, the arrangement being such that when the boat is travelling across the water the area of contact of the float and the water surface is confined to the base surface.
