1337439 Stabilizing floating platforms DRESSER INDUSTRIES Inc 23 Oct 1970 [29 Oct 1969 17 March 1970] 50400/70 Heading B7M [Also in Division E1] A mobile marine platform comprising a workdeck (96), Fig. 1 (not shown), supported above water by a column 97 is stabilized by a plate 98 secured to the lower end of column 97 and provided with a plurality of apertures 100 at least some of which are selectively closable by covers 102. The column 97 or the plate 98 may be ballastable and buoyancy is provided by pontoons 99. The column 97 may be telescopic.
