Abstract

1,043,067. Endless conveyers. SPEED KING MANUFACTURING CO. Inc. March 18, 1965, No. 11524/65. Heading B8A. A conveyer-elevator suitable for comminuted material &c. has a conveyer belt 16 of which the upper conveying reach is supported in a tube 10 and forms an arcuate trough for the material. A feed hopper 14 has a bottom plate 15 which is complementally arcuate to fit inside the tube 10. An adjustable hood 18, Fig. 1 (not shown), varies the angle of discharge of the material. The belt is guided by idler pulleys 36 and hangers 37. Belt driving and tensioning.-A unit 27 includes tensioning pulleys 30, 31 which are vertically adjustable by screws 34, 35 controlling bearing blocks 32, 33. A pulley 28 is power driven.
