Abstract
1,041,136. Reversible windows. A. FELIX. Sept. 7, 1964 [Sept. 9, 1963], No. 36519/64. Heading E1J. In a reversible sash 1 pivotable about a vertical central axis and incorporating a blind 29, the sash has sealing strips 23, 24 on the top and bottom sides of the sash and on the stiles of the sash, which in the closed position of the sash make sealing contact with wavy surfaces 30 on the confronting sides of the window frame 2. The strips 23 are accommodated in T-shaped grooves 19, 20, 21, 22 and the contacting surfaces 30 are removably secured in the frame 2 by flexible legs 31 hooking on to lugs 32 integral with the frame 2.
