Abstract

1,040,026. Tube couplings. B.T.R. INDUSTRIES Ltd. June 22, 1965 [July 3, 1964], No. 27620/64. Heading F2G. A sleeve 11 is screwed on to a helically corrugated metal tube 10, continuous welds 12, 16 being made between the tube and the sleeve and the sleeve and an end fitting 15. The reinforcement 18 is secured on to the sleeve by a swaged ferrule 19 which has a part 22 holding the reinforcement at the normal diameter thereof.
