Abstract
1,039,134. Block bottom bags. PSG. PLASTIK-SACK G.m.b.H. March 11, 1964 [March 12, 1963], No. 10245/64. Heading B8K. A plastics foil bottom sheet 1 is bonded around its edges to bottom flaps 4, 5 and triangular end flaps 2, 3 provided at the bottom of a plastics bag, Fig. 1 (not shown). The bottom flaps 4, 5 and the longitudinal edges of the bottom sheet 1 are folded inwards and are both bonded to the bottom sheet 1, Fig. 2. A plastics coated paper sheet may also be bonded to the bag bottom. A plastics foil valve sheet 7, Fig. 3 (not shown), may be provided between the bottom sheet 1 and the flap 2, a filling nozzle being inserted between the valve sheet and the bottom sheet 1. Alternatively, a flexible paper tube valve 8, Fig. 4 (not shown), may be provided between the bottom sheet 1 and the end flap 2.
