Abstract

1,032,766. Cushions. DUNLOP RUBBER CO. Ltd. Sept. 4, 1962 [Sept. 12, 1961], No. 32606/61. Addition to 776,012. Heading A4M. [Also in Division B5] Seat cushions and arm-rests are made as in the parent Specification, but having a base-board 13 formed with a skirt and applied to the mouth of the mould 11 with the skirt facing outwards and spaced from the sides of the mould to allow the resilient cellular material 12 such as polyurethane foam to form side portions to the cushion. The skirt portions of the cushion engage over a tubular seat frame. The baseboard has ventilation holes closed by plugs 14 mounted on pins 15 extending from a plate 16 pivoted at 17, and is swung into position on the charged mould 11.
