Abstract

1,024,757. Earth-moving bowl scrapers. J. H. WILMOTH & H. L. WILMOTH. April 16, 1964 [April 29, 1963], No. 15900/64. Heading E1F. An earth-moving bowl scraper driven by a prime mover comprises a mobile frame in which is mounted an annular reel supported on pivoted arms, which rolls over the earth and has vanes for elevating earth into a hopper having a scraper blade until the hopper is full, whereafter earth is carried further round and discharged into a bowl. The elevation of the blade 62 is adjustable by a ram and its proximity to the reel is controlled by a ram. The bowl is tipped for discharge by actuating a ram.
