102,277. Yanagidate, S. Jan. 11, 1916 Snow ploughs.-Guards 23 arranged around the wheels of a vehicle serve as obstruction-removers and for removing snow from the track. The guards are carried by rods 24 from a frame secured to the truck frame B, and are provided with rollers 28 running on the rails. The rods 24 are mounted to slide upwardly in their support. ing-frame against springs 25. The transverse portions of the guards 23 are cut away at the lower edge to clear the rails in travelling around curves.
