Abstract

In a timepiece wherein one or more photoelectric components supplies an energizing voltage for the timepiece by charging a battery, the walls of the casing of the timepiece, which houses these components, are made of a material which is translucent but not transparent, and mirror surfaces are provided inside the casing for reflecting incident light on to the photo-electric components. Parts of the casing may be formed as lenses. The reflectors may be angular or concave and may be adjustably mounted.
