Abstract

1,013,085. Carpet sweepers. BETTERWEAR PRODUCTS Ltd. Oct. 19, 1964 [Dec. 31, 1963], No. 51414/63. Heading A4F. In a carpet sweeper having a casing formed by upper and lower engaging parts a brush mounted in the upper part is adapted to be driven by at least one driving wheel mounted on the lower part. In the illustrated embodiment the upper casing part 1 is pivoted to the lower part 2 and carries a brush 10 having end rings 11 adapted to be engaged by pairs of driving wheels 12 mounted on the part 2. The brush 10 is detachably and rotatably mounted on the ends of a bail 3 to which the operating handle 6 of the machine is secured.
