Abstract

A refrigerator has a storage compartment 1 located upon the inner wall of its hinged door and comprising integral upper and front walls which are pivotally mounted and form a cover for the compartment. The cover is hinged at 5 and the hinge is associated with spring means for automatically closing the cover. The cover is provided with side walls 7 which overlap the rigid side walls 8 of the compartment. The base and side walls of the compartment are integrally formed with the inner wall 2 of a refrigerator door.
