Abstract

1,010,816. Linkwork; springs. GARBE, LAHMEYER & CO. A.G. May 4, 1962 [May 4, 1961], No. 17224/62. Headings F2K and F2S. An electromagnetically operated piston 2 for actuating a pressure-medium control means has a mechanical holding mechanism for retaining the piston 2 in its end position comprising a U-shaped spring having limbs 5b which are connected by toggle levers 6 to an annular groove 3a in an extension 3 of the piston 2. A plunger 7 is moved to the left, as seen in Fig. 1, on energization of a magnet, and acts on the end of the piston extension 3, the stroke of the plunger 7 terminating just beyond the dead-centre position of the toggle levers 6.
