Abstract
1,010,041. Spiral conveyer for food cans. INTERNATIONAL MACHINERY CORPORATION S.A. Feb. 12, 1964 [Feb. 19, 1963], No. 5825/64. Heading B8A. Food cans are introduced at 16 into stationary container 13 formed with an inner fixed spiral 14, and the cans are displaced along the container and around the spiral by rotating inner wheel 23. Each can is carried along its spiral path on a carrier 17 secured to the periphery of wheel 23. The shape of the carrier aids the agitation of the contents of the can and the axes of container 13 and of wheel 23 are slightly displaced to assist this agitation.
