[Also in Division A2] The Specification describes the same apparatus as that described in Specification 1,136,609 but the claims are directed to the processing of a product in a sealed container comprising the steps of sterilizing the contents of the container and moving said container downwardly into a liquid-filled cooling space which is subjected to an over-pressure in excess of the pressure caused in the container during sterilization, thereby preventing the container from swelling.
