1,009,039. Hinges. EGO-WERKE A.G. Sept. 14, 1962 [March 8, 1962], No. 35218/62. Heading E2F. A hinge for windows or doors is of pin and socket form, the socket member comprising a threaded metal bolt 2 welded or soldered to a hollow cylindrical or toric metal core 3 covered by moulded plastics material 1. The other hinge member is of identical construction but has a metal or plastics pin in place of the socket 4. The pin may be plastics, moulded integrally with the part 1, or may be metal as an angled extension of bolt 2.
