Abstract

1,006,372. Hoppers. CONDER ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. July 23, 1963 [July 24, 1962], No. 28443/62. Heading B8S. [Also in Division E1] A silo assembly for meat, fish, cake, offal, nut meals &c. consists of a number of containers C each with its walls built up from rectangular plates P having external flanges F extending from their horizontal edges whereby contiguous flanges of adjacent plates may be suitably bolted or riveted together, web strips W and ties or straps T being provided for interconnecting the containers together. The containers are internally reinforced at 10 and connected to hoppers H. The assembly may be encased in fire resistant material such as foamed concrete or additionally reinforced (see Figs. 5 and 6, not shown), respectively.
