Abstract

A zirconium based alloy contains 0.005-1% Y and at least 0.05% of one or more of Nb, Sn, Cu, Fe, Cr, Ni, Mo, W, V, Ta and Pd up to 5% each, the balance (apart from incidental impurities) being zirconium.
