Abstract

An aqueous washing concentrate comprises an organic per compound which, when present in the solid form, has a particle size of 1-300 m , in which both oxygen atoms of the peroxide group are linked to carbon atoms, suitably of the formula R-O-O-R1, where R and R1 are the same or different and represent hydrocarbon, acyl, cycloaliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic groups which may be substituted by hydroxyl, hydroperoxy or sulphonate groups, the per compound being present in an amount such that the concentrate has an active oxygen content of 0.5-2% by weight, a washing alkali and a detergent substance, preferably anionic or non-ionic substances of natural or synthetic origin, and also has a pH of 7-12.5 and a viscosity at 20 DEG C. of 5-10,000 cp., the difference of the specific gravities of any suspended percompound and the residual portion of the concentrate being not greater than 0.03.ALSO:An aqueous washing concentrate comprises an organic per compound which, when present in the solid form, has a particle size of 1-300 m , in which both oxygen atoms of the peroxide group are linked to carbon atoms, suitably of the formula R-O-O-R1 where R and R1 are the same or different and represent hydrocarbon, acyl, cycloaliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic groups which may be susbtituted by hydroxyl, hydroperoxy or sulphonate groups, the per compound being present in an amount such that the concentrate has an active oxygen content of 0.5-2% by weight, a washing alkali and a detergent substance, preferably anionic or non-ionic substances of natural or synthetic origin, and also has a pH of 7-12.5 and a viscosity at 20 DEG C of 5-10,000 cp, the difference of the specific gravities of any suspended percompound and the residual portion of the concentrate being not greater than 0.03.
