[Also in Division A4] A bidet receptacle, mounted for movement between in use and out of use positions over a toilet bowl, is provided with its own water supply. As shown, a receptacle 21 is supported from a stand 1 and swung over a toilet bowl 23 when required for use. Water is heated by a thermostatically controlled electric water heater in tank 2 and part of the contents of the tank is delivered to receptacle 21 on lifting knob 12. The water level in tank 2 is controlled by a ballcock and an overflow pipe is connected to a flexible discharger tube. Disinfectant may be supplied to the tank and a safety cut-out prevents the water from being overheated. In another form, the receptacle 31 is hinged to a bidet seat 29 and is supplied with water through a flexible tube 39. On closing lid 26, catch 32 is released by means of cable 35, and the receptacle drops to discharge its contents.
