DISPLAY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to display racks and their manufacturing methods.

TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND

More specifically, the invention relates to a display stand. These include large displays, of the order of a meter, suitable for presenting large objects to be presented, and in particular thin objects to be presented vertically.

In the field of displays, it is known to use a display as a support for an object to be presented. However, these displays are bulky. Therefore, they are complex to manufacture, transport, and handle.

The invention thus aims to democratize the use of displays of this type.

Thus, the invention relates to a display comprising a lower presentation device and an upper presentation device,

Thanks to these arrangements, the display can be made in two parts, each of which takes up little space, which can easily be manufactured, transported and handled. Fastening by interlocking can be carried out easily by an unskilled worker and provide good mechanical performance of the display.

Depending on various aspects, it is possible to provide one and/or the other of the provisions below.

According to one embodiment, at least a first and a second device are defined from among the lower presentation device and the upper presentation device, and the first device comprises at least one interlocking device comprising a recess, and the second device comprises a protrusion insertable into the recess.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

FIG. 1 schematically represents in perspective a lower presentation device 1 according to a first embodiment.

The lower display device 1 is presented in an X-Y-Z reference frame, in which the Z direction corresponds to the vertical, and the X-Y plane corresponds to the horizontal plane, assuming that the lower display device 1 is in a configuration to be used, placed on horizontal ground. To fix ideas, the Y direction corresponds to the greatest length of the lower presentation device 1 in the horizontal plane. The characteristic dimension of the lower presentation device 1 in the horizontal plane is of the order of at least 0.5 meters.

The lower presentation device 1 is made from a wooden pallet. On the priority date, a pallet is defined, by the National Center for Textual and Lexical Resources, as a storage and loading platform allowing the automatic handling of goods using trolleys and lifts. The lower presentation device 1 is made from an assembly of wooden components.

The lower presentation device 1 comprises a plate 2 raised with respect to the ground 3. The plate 2 comprises an upper presentation surface 4. The presentation surface 4 is flat and horizontal. By “plane”, it is understood that all of the wooden components defining the upper presentation surface 4 together define a plane even if, as seen in Figure 1, there may be empty spaces between these components.

In the example shown, the presentation surface 4 is defined by the upper presentation surface 5 of a plurality of upper wooden slats 6. The upper wooden slats 6 are identical to each other, arranged parallel to each other. , extending longitudinally in the direction X, the two main faces facing up and down, and spaced from each other in the direction Y.

The plate 2 also comprises a plurality of lower wooden slats 7. The lower wooden slats 7 are identical to each other, arranged parallel to each other, extending longitudinally in the direction Y, the two main faces facing upwards. top and bottom, and spaced from each other in the X direction.

The upper wooden slats 6 and the lower wooden slats 7 are fixed to each other. In particular, the spacing between two lower wooden slats 7 in direction X corresponds to the length of the upper wooden slats 6, and the end portions of the upper wooden slats 6 are fixed to the lower wooden slats 7.

Other embodiments can be envisaged for producing a tray 2 having a flat presentation surface 4 from wooden components, in particular in terms of numbers, arrangements, or identities of the wooden components.

The plate 2 is raised relative to the ground 3 by means of feet 8. The feet 8 are arranged so as to be able to leave a free space for the plate 2 to allow the gripping of the plate 2 by the forks of a forklift passing under the plate 2. The feet 8 define the lower surface 11 of the lower presentation device 1 in contact with the ground 3.

There are for example two feet 8 arranged on either side of the plate 2 in the direction Y. In the present example, an intermediate foot 8 is provided between these two end feet along the direction Y. In this example, 8 feet are identical to each other. In this embodiment, each foot 8 is elongated in the X direction. Thus, each foot 8 has a length, in the X direction, corresponding to the length of the upper wooden slats 6. The feet 8 are fixed to the top 2. By example, they are fixed to the lower wooden slats 7 of the plate 2.

In this embodiment, the feet 8 comprise two end supports 9, 9' interconnected by a lower slat 10. In the present embodiment, the supports 9 are different from the supports 9', as will be explained later. in detail below. The supports 9 are for example wooden cubes. In particular, the supports 9 are above the lower slat 10. The lower slat 10 comprises the lower surface 11 of the lower presentation device 1, which is a main face of the lower slat 10.

Other exemplary embodiments can be envisaged for producing legs 8 making it possible to raise the top 2 from the ground 3 from wooden components, in particular in terms of numbers, arrangements, or identities of the wooden components.

The lower presentation device 1 includes a nesting device 12. In the example shown, the nesting device 12 uses supports 9'. The supports 9' are arranged on the same side of the lower presentation device 1, and are all identical.

Figure 2 shows a fitting device 12 in more detail.

The interlocking device 12 has a central recess 13 facing upwards. That is to say that the fitting device comprises an upper opening 14 giving access to the cylindrical or conical central recess 13 of vertical axis, defined by peripheral surfaces.

In the example shown, the support 9' and the plate 2 have peripheral surfaces of the central recess 13. In particular, the recess 13 has a polygonal horizontal section, and one side of the polygon comprises a lateral surface 15 of the plate 2. In practice, the lateral surface 15 comprises on the one hand a lateral surface of the lower wooden slat 7 as well as a lateral surface of the upper wooden slat 6.

In this embodiment, the support 9 'comprises a recess of greater extent than the recess 13, part of the access opening to this recess being covered by the plate.

The 9′ support is for example made by assembling wooden blocks assembled in such a way as to define a recess between them. In the example shown, four wooden blocks are used arranged so as to define a cylinder of quadrilateral section, and assembled on the lower slat 10 of the foot 8.

As can be seen, the interlocking device 12 protrudes, laterally, in the direction X, beyond the flat presentation surface 4, which makes it possible to use the edge of the wooden slats constituting the tray 2 to define recess 13.

Thus, the lower slat 10 is more extensive, on the side of the support 9 'than on the side of the support 9, because it protrudes beyond the vertical plane passing through the edge of the overlying upper slat 6 for a good fixing of the support. 9', and good stability on the ground of the lower presentation device 1.

The upper display device 16 includes a tray 17. The tray 17 includes a front display surface 18. The display surface 18 is flat and vertical. By "plane", it is understood that all the wooden components defining the front presentation surface 18 together define a plane even if, as seen in Figure 3, there may be empty spaces between these components.

In the example shown, the presentation surface 18 is defined by the front presentation surface 19 of a plurality of front wooden slats 20. The front wooden slats 20 are identical to each other, arranged parallel to each other. , extending longitudinally in the Y direction, and spaced from each other in the Z direction.

The plate 17 also comprises a plurality of wooden cleats 21. The wooden cleats 21 are identical to each other, arranged parallel to each other, extending longitudinally in the direction Z, with their main surfaces facing the rear. and the front, and spaced from each other in the Y direction.

The front wooden slats 20 and the wooden cleats 21 are fixed to each other. In particular, the end portions of the front wooden slats 20, as well as intermediate portions (in particular, a central portion) are fixed to the wooden cleats 21.

Other exemplary embodiments are possible for producing a tray 17 having a flat presentation surface 18 from wooden components, in particular in terms of numbers, arrangements, or identities of the wooden components.

This description does not suggest that the flat presentation surface could be obtained by covering the front surface of the front wooden slats 20 with a continuous extended object of flat surface, of low thickness, such as for example a continuous flexible textile or synthetic. , a wooden or rigid plastic board, …

The plate 17 can be made symmetrical with respect to the vertical plane Y-Z. This makes it possible to use the same plate 17 either in the orientation shown in FIG. 3, or in the opposite orientation, without being mistaken. Consequently, the plate 17 also comprises rear wooden slats 22 symmetrical to the front wooden slats 20 with respect to the vertical plane Y-Z. In other words, the cleats 21 are sandwiched between the front wooden slats 20 and the rear wooden slats 22. If necessary, only some of the rear wooden slats 22 are used, which has a function stiffening of the plate 17.

The upper presentation device 16 is arranged to be fixed by interlocking with the lower presentation device 1. In the example shown, the upper presentation device 16 comprises a plurality of interlocking portions 23 adapted for interlocking in portions of complementary interlocking of the lower display device 1. In this example, the interlocking portions 23 comprise an end portion of the cleats 21. The interlocking portions 23 have shapes complementary to the recesses 13 of the lower display device 1, and are arranged facing them for fixing by interlocking. In particular, the interlocking portions 23 are arranged and sized to be inserted into the recesses 13 by a tight fit.

The lower presentation devices 1 thus produced, and the upper presentation devices 16 thus produced, are thin (that is to say that one of their dimensions is much smaller than the other two). They have geometries allowing them to be stacked in the thickness, which makes it possible to carry a stack of lower display devices 1 or a stack of upper display devices 16 by means of a forklift. As for the top display devices 16, they can be stacked on a pallet. The lower presentation devices 1 and the upper presentation devices 16 are light, and can be handled individually by one or two people, by hand, without using lifting gear.

FIG. 4 thus represents a display unit 24 comprising a lower display device 1 and an upper display device 16 assembled together by interlocking. The lower edge of the lower front wooden slat 20 of the upper display device 16 bears against the flat display surface 4 of the lower display device 1. The fixing is done without tools and without glue. It is thus possible to transport on the one hand a lower presentation device 1 and, on the other hand, an upper presentation device 16 without them occupying a large space, because they are thin products, and assemble them on site by interlocking to form a display 24, which can be used to arrange an object to be presented, resting on the presentation surfaces 4 and 18. An object can for example be a frame, such as a door, a window, a door- window, garage door, gate, etc.

Once the display stand 24 is no longer useful, the display stand 24 can be disassembled without tools, by disengaging the lower display device 1 and the upper display device 16 from each other. The various elements can then be transported without significant congestion, to a next destination such as, for example, a recycling operation.

In this exemplary embodiment, the interlocking is achieved by inserting protrusions of the upper presentation device 16 into recesses of the lower presentation device 1 by a vertical movement from top to bottom. However, one could, alternatively, provide other interlocking embodiments.

Figure 5 gives a second embodiment of a lower presentation device 1. The lower presentation device 1 of the second embodiment incorporates some of the characteristics of the first embodiment. The differences from the first embodiment are described below.

One difference is that the bottom presenter 1 is symmetrical with respect to the nesting device 12. In other words, the nesting device 12 is central in the bottom presenter 1.

The foot 8 comprises a transverse beam 25 comprising two parallel wooden slats or cleats 26 spaced apart so as to form the recess 13 between them.

The lower presentation device 1 of this embodiment is for example made from a pallet from which a central upper wooden slat 6 has been removed to leave the underlying feet 8 visible.

Another difference compared to the previous embodiment is that the upper wooden slats 6 are juxtaposed with a small spacing.

Another difference is that the legs 8 comprise, as explained above, transverse beams 25, themselves fixed to longitudinal cleats 27 which present the lower surface 11 resting on the ground. This results in great stability.

Another difference is that the lower presentation device 1 is provided with a nesting device comprising five nesting portions.

Another difference is that the interlocking portions are not arranged at the longitudinal ends of the lower presentation device 1.

FIG. 6 thus represents the display stand 24 according to this embodiment.

As can be seen in Figure 6, the assembly makes it possible to form a double display unit comprising two presentation sides arranged on either side of the plane of symmetry. This also results in greater stability.

FIG. 7 schematically represents, in side view, an upper presentation device 16 according to a third embodiment, capable of being assembled by interlocking with a lower presentation device 1, for example of the type described below, without tools nor glue.

The upper presentation device 16 is distinguished in that the presentation surface 18, materialized by a dotted line, is not orthogonal to the ground. It is slightly inclined in relation to the orthogonal to the ground. Thus, according to the present invention, the term "vertical" covers a direction exactly orthogonal to the ground, or slightly inclined with respect thereto. This effect can for example be obtained by giving the cleats or wooden slats 21 a conical section tapering upwards.

In addition, the front wooden slats 20 are not necessarily evenly distributed over the height of the upper presentation device 16. They are for example more concentrated in the upper region of the upper presentation device 16.

The present invention also relates to embodiments made from combinations of characteristics resulting from the various embodiments detailed above.

The embodiments which have just been described can be implemented as described below.

Lower presentation devices 1 are manufactured. These can be easily stacked to be transported without loss of space to an exhibition site.

Upper display devices 16 are manufactured. These can be easily stacked to be conveyed without loss of space to the place of exposure.

At the exhibition site, an upper display device 16 and a lower display device 1 are assembled by interlocking, without tools or gluing.

If necessary, according to the embodiments, the upper presentation device 16 is shorter than the lower presentation device 1, and several upper presentation devices 16 are assembled to the same lower presentation device 1, so that the devices upper display devices 16 are juxtaposed along the lower display device 1 in the longitudinal direction thereof.

If necessary, according to the embodiments, the lower presentation device 1 is shorter than the upper presentation device 16, and several lower presentation devices 1 are assembled to the same upper presentation device 16, so that the devices lower display devices 1 are juxtaposed along the upper display device 16 in the longitudinal direction thereof.

These operations are repeated, if necessary, to form several displays 24.

The objects to be presented are placed on the displays.

At the end of the exposure event, the upper presentation devices 16 are disassembled, without tools, from the lower presentation devices 1 by dismantling.

The lower presentation devices 1 can be easily stacked to be conveyed without loss of space to another place of exposure or to a recycling process.
