A method of producing a padding according to any one of claims 1 to 4, said method comprising the following steps: • provide a mold (7) defining a mold cavity (8), • provide at least one blade ( 9), mounted by one of its ends (10) in said mold so as to be able to adopt a projecting position in said cavity, • inserting said blade in a bag (5) based on a thermoplastic film in which is housed a sheet (3 ) of presence detection, said sheet being connected to an electrical cable (4) protruding from said bag and said cavity, • injecting into said cavity a foam precursor mixture, said blade being in the projecting position, so as to produce a block of padding (2) overmolding said bag, • after expanding said foam, demolding said block obtained by extracting said blade said bag. 7.
