Ce stator pour machine électrique à flux transverse à griffes, comprend un corps (4) annulaire et un ensemble de griffes (7) dressées à partir de la périphérie du corps. Les griffes comportent chacune une première portion (8) proximale solidaire du corps (4) et une deuxième portion distale (9) d'épaisseurs différentes, la portion distale ayant une épaisseur inférieure à celle de la portion proximale, lesdites portions proximale et distale délimitant un épaulement (10) formé sur la surface externe de la griffe.
