Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de coupure électrique (1) comportant un pôle de coupure double pourvu de deux contacts fixes (3, 4) coopérant avec deux contacts mobiles (5, 6) couplés à un support mobile (8), agencés pour se déplacer dans un plan dit plan de coupure (P) et définir avec chaque contact fixe une zone de coupure (E1, E2). Ce dispositif comporte un aimant (11) embarqué sur ledit support mobile (8), disposé dans l'environnement proche desdits contacts mobiles (5, 6), en regard desdites zones de coupure (Z1, Z2), et orienté pour générer un vecteur d'excitation magnétique (CM) sensiblement parallèle audit plan de coupure (P) de sorte que la force électromagnétique (FE) induite déplace et étire les arcs électriques (E1, E2) dans une direction sensiblement perpendiculaire audit plan de coupure (P), les directions d'étirement desdits arcs électriques (E1, E2) étant de sens opposés, indépendamment de la polarité dudit aimant (11) et/ou dudit courant (I).
