Abstract

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a shoe having an increase in its interior volume compensated by a set forming a removable sole comprising at least two soles having different thicknesses, so that the interior volume of the shoe is adjustable by the withdrawal of at least 1 one of these two soles.

Many technical solutions are known for improving comfort in a shoe.

Firstly, external soles intended to be introduced into a shoe and including an absorbent and / or deodorizing layer to improve the comfort of the user and ventilation of the shoe.

Although necessary for improving comfort or correcting a malfunction, these outer soles can cause discomfort in shoes, reducing the volume of footwear.

In addition, the majority of shoes are standardized, and can cause discomfort when the user has a wide or narrow foot. Some manufacturers offer shoes called "comfort" by offering half sizes and / or different widths. However, we note that this adaptation to various sizes and / or widths is at the expense of the aesthetic appearance.

Object of the invention

The present invention aims to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to meet the above stated constraints by providing a shoe having an increase in its interior volume compensated by a set forming a removable sole, said assembly comprising at least two soles having different thicknesses, so that the interior volume of the shoe is adjustable by removing at least one of these two soles. The invention also relates to a method for modulating the interior volume of a shoe by removing at least one of said soles of such a set. The invention also relates to a set forming a removable sole for the implementation of such a shoe and having at least two soles having different thicknesses. The invention finally covers a method of manufacturing such a shoe.

There are several methods to define a shoe size. Until 1920, the size simply corresponded to the length of the foot in centimeters. However, the size of a shoe from one manufacturer or country to another is therefore no longer standardized.

For the purposes of the present invention, the size of a shoe is defined with respect to the length of the foot. The length of the foot is measured on an axis connecting the plane formed by the heel and that formed by the longest phalanx, the measurement taking place in centimeters. For purely illustrative purposes, the size of a shoe is calculated by taking the length of the foot as previously measured in centimeters, and by assigning a coefficient of 2/3. Thus, for a foot having a length of 26 centimeters, the corresponding size will be a 39.5.

In the same way, there is no standardized measure of the width of a foot.

For the purposes of the present invention, the width of the foot is measured at the tarsometatarsal articulation at the root of the phalanges.
