Abstract

The applicator has an assembly area (18) releasable to allow passage of a sachet (10) from a containment configuration of a cosmetic product toward a distribution configuration of the cosmetic product. An internal surface (32) of a wall (12) is located relative to another internal surface (62) of another wall (14) in the containment configuration, and the surfaces are separated in the distribution configuration. One of the surfaces presents a textured area (34) adapted to receive the product. The assembly area extends partly until the textured area. Description

Cosmetic product applicator bag, method of manufacture and method of application thereof. The present invention relates to a cosmetic product applicator bag, comprising: a first wall and a second wall, the first wall and the second wall delimiting between them a volume for receiving the cosmetic product, between a first internal surface of the first wall and a second internal surface of the second wall; an assembly zone of the first internal surface with the second internal surface, the assembly area being releasable for passing the bag from a confinement configuration of the cosmetic product between the first wall in which the first internal surface is located; facing the second inner surface, towards at least one cosmetic product dispensing configuration in which the first inner surface and the second inner surface have been spaced from each other.

Such a bag is intended to condition a cosmetic product, before its application on a body surface, then, after opening, to be used to facilitate the application of the cosmetic product to the body surface. For the purposes of the present invention, the term "cosmetic product" advantageously means a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products. The cosmetic product intended to be contained in the sachet is, for example, a fluid product, such as a liquid, a cream or a gel, or a powder. This product is for example a care product, a personal care product or a perfume intended to be applied to the skin and / or keratin fibers of a user.

In particular, the product contained in the sachet is a deodorant and / or antiperspirant product. Alternatively, the cosmetic product is a makeup product, a cleaning product, a solar product, or a product for staining keratin fibers. In the cosmetic field, many bags of all kinds exist on the market. These pouches are for example used as a means of sampling, but also as a sales model. The vast majority of sachets contain exclusively a cosmetic formula, as described in EP 0 803 210. In some cases, the sachet further contains an application element impregnated with the formula, as described in WO 2008/060162.

No. 5,046,608 also describes an applicator bag intended to contain alcohol for the purpose of disinfection. The bag comprises two support walls folded over one another and held together by a releasable attachment area. An applicator member of porous material is attached to the inner surfaces of the support walls, away from the releasable attachment area. Alternatively, the internal surfaces of the support walls are provided with a relief intended to promote the reception of the product. To use the bag, the user releases the attachment area and unfolds the first wall relative to the second wall. Then, he applies the product contained in the application element on a body surface. Such a sachet does not give complete satisfaction. Indeed, the attachment of the porous application element on the support walls, or the realization of a relief directly on these walls must be performed very precisely in a central area of each wall.

The bag of the aforementioned type is therefore difficult to produce in large series, in particular by a continuous process. Its cost is high compared to a bag without applicator. An object of the invention is therefore to obtain a bag for both conditioning a cosmetic product, and to promote its application on a body surface of a user, the bag being simple to manufacture and inexpensive. To this end, the subject of the invention is a bag of the aforementioned type, in which at least one of the first internal surface and the second internal surface has a textured region adapted to receive the cosmetic product, and in which the assembly area releasable extends at least in part to one of said textured regions.

As illustrated by FIGS. 1 to 3, the bag 10 comprises a first wall 12 and a second wall 14, the first wall 12 and the second wall 14 delimiting between them an interior volume 16 for receiving the cosmetic product.

The bag 10 further comprises a peripheral zone 18 of releasable connection of the first wall 12 with the second wall 14 externally defining the receiving volume 16. In this example, the bag 10 has a substantially polygonal contour, preferably of rectangular shape. Alternatively, the contour of the bag 10 has another shape, such as a circular shape, elliptical, elongated. The bag 10 advantageously has a maximum thickness less than its other dimensions, in particular its maximum length, and its maximum width, or its diameter. In this example, the first wall 12 has an outer contour similar to the contour of the bag 10.

The first wall 12 is substantially flat. It has a thickness less than its other dimensions. This thickness is for example between 12 micrometers and 1 mm. The first wall 12 has a first outer surface 30, intended to form a portion of the outer surface of the bag 10, and a first inner surface 32, located opposite the outer surface 30 and intended to delimit outward the reception volume 16. The first wall 12 is able to impermeably confine the cosmetic product contained in the reception volume 16. For this purpose, the cosmetic product contained in the reception volume 16 is unfit to pass through the first wall 12 since the first inner surface 32 to the outer surface 30. According to the invention, the second inner surface 62 has at least one second cosmetic product receiving region 64 which extends at least in part to the releasable assembly zone 18. In the example shown in FIG. 2, the textured region 64 extends over substantially the entire central region of the second interior surface 62 delimited within the releasable assembly zone 18. In the example of FIG. 3, the releasable assembly zone 18 delimits externally on the second inner surface 62 a second outer gripping region 68 that can be grasped by a user of the bag 10 to open the bag 10. A same film 50 can thus be assembled with different textured layers 52 according to the desired applications. In a variant (not shown), the impervious film 50 may delimit the first inner surface 30. One can have a first wall 12 consisting of an impermeable outer film 50 and a textured inner layer 52 and a second wall 14 consisting of the only impervious film 50 calendered or vice versa; or have each of the first and second walls 12, 14 formed similarly.

The releasable assembly zone 18 may extend to the periphery of the first wall 12 and the second wall 14, except for the gripping regions 38, 68. For example, the first interior surface 32 is connected to the second inner surface 62 by the releasable joining zone 18. Apart from the releasable joining zone 18, in particular in the central regions 34, 64, and in the gripping regions 38, 68, no connection exists between the first inner surface 32 and the second inner surface 62. The releasable assembly zone 18 thus forms a peripheral bead, of closed contour, delimiting outwardly the receiving volume 16 between the walls 12, 14. In the totally open configuration shown in FIG. 3, the assembly zone 18 has been completely released, and the first wall 12 is completely free with respect to the second wall 14. An example of a process for manufacturing the bag 10 will now be described. With reference to FIG. 4, this method first comprises a step of supplying a first support 80 and a second support 82 intended respectively to form the first wall 12 and the second wall 14, and then the placement of the first support 80 facing the second support 82 to delimit an interior volume 16 for receiving cosmetic product 16.

The method then comprises a step of feeding cosmetic product into the interior volume 16, and a step of forming a releasable assembly zone 18 around the interior volume 16. Initially, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the first support 80 and the second support 82 are provided. These supports 80, 82 are each formed by a plate, a strip or a coil of a material comprising an interior surface 84, 86 textured. Advantageously, each support 80, 82 is formed by an impermeable film 50 on which is assembled a textured inner layer 52, as described above. Alternatively, the supports 80, 82 may comprise firstly a film and secondly a textured layer assembled during the placement of the first support 80 facing the second support 82 to define the internal volume 16, the cohesion between the film and the textured layer being provided during the formation of the releasable assembly zone 18. The textured interior surfaces 84, 86 are placed opposite one another. In the feeding step, cosmetic product is introduced into the interior volume 16 located between the inner surfaces 84, 86. In particular, the releasable assembly zone 18 may overflow the textured regions 34, 64 or be formed directly in the textured regions 34, 64. It is thus possible to easily form each bag 10, especially in large series, with a high production rate. This makes it possible to reduce the cost of each sachet 10. A method of applying a cosmetic product to a body surface of a user, using a sachet 10, will now be described.

Initially, the user enters a bag 10 in its confinement configuration. It grasps each of the gripping regions 38, 68, then exerts on the gripping regions 38, 68, a manual traction force tending to move the first wall 12 away from the second wall 14. The assembly zone 18 is progressively released at from the gripping regions 38, 68, allowing the relative displacement of the second wall 14 relative to the first wall 12, to reach the partially open configuration. In this configuration, the outer surfaces 30, 60 are curved. Conversely, the inner surfaces 32, 62 are concave, with a concavity directed towards the inside of the bag 110. These curved central regions 114, 116 are for example preformed from a support 80, 82 multilayer by thermoforming. The reception volume of the product is thus increased relative to the first packet described. In the partially open configuration shown in FIG. 6, the central regions 114, 116 are adapted to be returned manually by the user to invert their initial convexity. Thus, in the configuration illustrated in FIG. 7, the outer surfaces 30, 60 are concave, with an outwardly directed concavity of the bag 110.
