Abstract

The clipper has a cutting head (4) integrated to a body (2) and driven by an electric motor (11). A shoe (5) is integrated to the body and defines a support surface (7) on an epidermis. A cutter carriage (10) carrying the head and the motor is mobile in translation in the body with respect to the support surface of the shoe. The carriage is moved in translation by an adjusting unit adjusting a cutting length (H) corresponding to a distance between the head and the support surface. The shoe permits the cutting length to be between 1 millimeter and 2 millimeter.
