Abstract

The device has a housing enclosing an electric motor (11), and a cluster gear receiving movement of the motor to actuate a depilatory head which is detachably mounted relative to the housing. A hair cutting device (2) e.g. shaving head, is detachably mounted relative to the housing and has a unit (37) e.g. inner knife, mobile in translation along an axis parallel to a plane of skin. The mobile unit is coupled to a hollow coupling arm (38) which has a horizontal guiding branch (39) and a transversal branch (40) driving the mobile unit using a driving mechanism (30) in the housing.
