Abstract
Description
PORTILLON POUR COFFRE. L'invention se rapporte à un portillon destiné àPORTILLON FOR CHEST. The invention relates to a gate for
The so-called retractable roof vehicles are derived from conventional 3-hull, 5-hull or single-hull vehicles that are modified so that they have a retractable roof. allowing access to the trunk for storing the roof in said trunk. This retractable roof vehicle retains overall the silhouette of the base vehicle, but modifications are necessary, particularly in the trunk, roof and chassis. When the roof is stored in the trunk, a portion of the trunk is often available to accommodate various objects however access to this volume is more difficult. Thus, the applicant to imagine a retractable roof vehicle which comprises in addition to the trunk lid, a door to access the trunk without the need to maneuver the lid of said trunk. This door is usually at 15 of the rear wall of the trunk, the trunk lid forming the upper part of the trunk. It thus allows access to the free volume of the trunk without maneuvering the lid and even if the roof is housed in said trunk. These modifications compared to the original bodywork require the design of 20 new tools for the presses that stamp the sheets intended to form this box and the lid. This is expensive because these tools can not be amortized on large series of parts which generates a cost per piece increased without direct relationship with the amount of material used. The object of the invention is to provide a solution. To this end, the invention relates to a trunk gate of a retractable roof vehicle derived from a base vehicle further comprising a trunk lid for storing the retractable roof, the trunk lid being characterized in that it is constituted in part by a fraction of a body part of the base vehicle 30 attached to a complementary bodywork part.
The invention will be better understood from the following description given by way of non-limiting example with reference to the drawing which represents: FIG. 1: A vehicle with a retractable roof seen from a three quarter rear FIG. retractable roof seen in profile FIG 3: An enlarged view of a gate according to the invention FIG. 4: A view of an example of assembly of the parts constituting the gate FIG. 5: A second example of assembly of a gate. FIG. 6 A 3/4 rear view of a basic three-box vehicle FIG. 7 A side view of the vehicle of FIG. 6 FIG. 8 A rear 3/4 view of a FIG. FIG. 8. Referring to the drawings, there is shown a retractable roof vehicle 1 derived from a tricody or bicorps or unibody vehicle. FIGS. 6 to 9 show a basic vehicle lA with its boot 4A and the lid 5A of the boot. The vehicle derived from FIGS. 1 to 3 comprises a retractable roof comprising, for example, a front roof element 2 and a rear roof element 3. FIG. 2 shows this retractable roof in its two positions. In one of the positions, the roof covers the passenger compartment and in the other position (mixed lines) the roof is housed in a trunk 4. To house the roof in the trunk, the lid 5 of the trunk opens from the front to the rear and for this it is articulated around a transverse axis 6 carried by the body and, for example, by a cross 7. As distinguished in Figure 2, even when the roof is stored, part of the trunk volume is free and there is therefore a gate 8 for access to this trunk. Access to the trunk can be done independently of the operation of the trunk lid. We see that this gate is, in part, the rear wall of the trunk. In this FIG. 2, two examples of maneuvering the gate 8 are shown. In the first example, this gate 8 is articulated about a transverse axis 9 that has been positioned in the upper part of the gate. In the second example, the gate is held on the body by two links 100 forming a deformable parallelogram.
These two examples are not limiting of the possible solutions. According to the invention, the trunk lid is constituted, in part, by a fraction of a body part 10 of the base vehicle fixed on a part 11 of complementary bodywork. In FIGS. 7 and 9, this part of the bodywork 10 which is used to form the door is identified. In this example, this body portion 10 is substantially below the body line 50 shown in phantom. The first solution has been detailed in more detail in Figures 3 to 5. Thus, this part 11 of complementary body carries a complementary fraction of a fastening means with the body as a part of an articulation on the body. The complementary bodywork part 11 extends upwardly the part 10 of the bodywork of the base vehicle. Note that in the example shown in Figure 3, the crossbar 7 bearing the axis of articulation of the hood cover also carries the hinge axis 6 of the trunk lid. More specifically, a fraction 10 of the body initially forming the trunk lid of the base vehicle is used to bring it to a part 11 of complementary bodywork to at least partially complete this bodywork part and form the gate. This will use the tooling of manufacturing the basic body and it avoids making a tool. To avoid scraps, the sheet metal panel used for stamping will be of a size adapted to the size of the portion of the bodywork used. This fraction 10 of the so-called basic bodywork will consist of an outer skin 10A and / or of an inner skin 10B. The inner skin is still called lining.
Indeed, a bodywork element generally comprises an outer skin which is the aesthetic part and an inner skin which is more technical because it stiffens the outer skin. This inner skin is also used for fixing on the support structure and also allows to carry accessories such as the locks or the trunk lighting or the license plate etc. Depending on the vehicle, we will choose to take this outer skin and / or inner. The complementary bodywork part is either constituted by formed sheets or molded material and / or shaped. In Figure 4, there is shown an assembly of a portion 10 of the body of the base vehicle comprising an outer skin and an inner skin assembled with a complementary part 11 consisting of an outer panel 11A and an inner panel 11B. The assembly of the complementary piece 11 on the part 10 of basic bodywork is done by welding.
Note that the inner panel 11B and the inner skin 10 B overlaps flat for welding while for the outer panel 11A and the outer skin 10A, there is provided a folded edge where the welding takes place. The fixing of the panels between them or skins between them is done by crimping the periphery of the gate 8.
In Figure 5, there is shown an example of attachment of a part 11 of complementary bodywork obtained partially by molding or other shaping. This additional bodywork part comprises 12 support pieces, for example, in the form of bars 12 fixed on the body part 10 of the base vehicle and on these support parts is fixed a so-called molded finishing part 13 completing the gate. The support pieces are inserted between the inner skin 10A and the outer skin 10B of the bodywork part 10. The support parts will receive one of the complementary fractions of the articulation with the body of the vehicle.
The attachment of the finishing part or the complementary bodywork part 11 is done either by welding or crimping or screwing or clipping.
In the solution with the rods 100 which has not been developed in close-up, the body part 10 will, for example, consist of the inner and outer skins of the bodywork part 10 which will be completed in the upper part by the Complementary bodywork part 11 and the rods 100 may be fixed by any means on the inner skin 10B. It can of course be provided that the complementary piece 11 also forms the inner skin of the gate and that only the outer skin 10A is preserved from the base vehicle. The gate may carry the lock and / or locks and / or lighting from the base vehicle.
