Abstract

Description

Closure device for a sports shoe

  The present invention relates to closing devices of a sports shoe. In particular, the invention relates to the closing devices of a ski boot.

  It is known in the prior art to use closure devices to generate a large force. Such devices are called hooks; closure. The document EP 1 142 497 A1 describes a ski boot equipped with four of these hooks. The hooks are all substantially similar, they include a base attached to the hull on which is pivoted a lever. The axis of articulation of the lever on the base is parallel to the hull. A tie rod is pivotally mounted at one of its ends on the lever and is connected to a loop by the other of its ends. The loop is intended to engage with a rack. Two of the hooks are placed in the upper part of the boot and they are arranged in such a way that they exert their closing force in a clamping plane which is substantially horizontal. In this case the axis of articulation of the lever is oriented substantially vertically and the manipulation of the hook which is done by the tilting of the lever requires a circular movement exerted in a horizontal plane. It is very difficult for a user to perform such a movement while exerting a significant force.

  The present invention aims to provide a ferr device. leture that allows to overcome the limitations posed by the devices known in the prior art.

  In particular, the invention aims to provide a closure device whose ergonomics of use is improved.

  The invention also aims to provide a sports shoe equipped with at least one closure device that allows the user to exert maximum clamping force while ensuring an ergonomic position.

  The object of the invention is obtained by the provision of a closing device intended to bring together two sections of a sports shoe comprising a pa: 1 a lever pivotally mounted about a first axis of articulation by relative to the first of said sections and acting on an attachment element and on the other hand an anchoring element fixed on a second one of said panels, said attachment element and said anchoring element being designed to engage one of with the other, the first hinge axis being oriented in a direction that is not parallel to the plane tangent to said first pan in the mounting area of said sink.

  Preferably, the first hinge axis is oriented in a direction making with the plane tangent to said first pan in the lever mounting area, an angle between 45 and 90.

  The object of the invention is also obtained by the provision of a sports shoe comprising at least two sides and equipped with at least one closure device intended to bring said two parts of the shoe together and comprising on the one hand a lever mounted pivoting about a first axis of articulation relative to the first of said panels and acting on a fastening element and secondly an anchoring element fixed on the second of said panels, said attachment element and said anchoring member being provided for engaging with each other, characterized in that the first hinge axis is oriented in a direction which is not parallel to the plane tangent to said first leg in the mounting area said lever.

  Preferably, the closure device is disposed on the boot so that the clamping plane is horizontal and means for holding the fastening element in said clamping plane are provided.

  Figure 1 shows a sports shoe equipped with closure devices according to the prior art. This is a ski boot with four hook closure devices and a lower leg strap. The ski boot, comprises a rigid shell consisting of a bottom-of-shell and a necklace. The closing devices are almost identical to each other and comprise a base on which is pivotally mounted a lever. The axis of articulation of the lever on the base is, for each of the hooks, parallel to the plane tangent to the shell of the shoe, at the mounting location of the base thereon. In other words, it could be said that the first axis of articulation is parallel to the shell of the boot, at the location of attachment of the base thereon. For the hooks which are placed on the bottom-of-shell, the axis of articulation of the hooks is substantially horizontal. Such an arrangement is good from an ergonomic point of view insofar as the user must make a movement from top to bottom to close the hook and a movement from bottom to top to open it. In contrast, for the hooks placed on the collar, they are arranged so that their clamping plane is substantially horizontal and the hinge axis of the lever is oriented substantially vertically. This means that the movement that the user must make to close the hook is a rotational movement inscribed in a horizontal plane. Such a movement is very bad ergonomically.

  Figure 2 shows a closure device according to a first embodiment of the invention, in the open position. The closure device comprises a base 3, fixed on a first leg 1 of a shoe by means of two rivets 4. Preferably, the base 3 is arranged in such a way that the action of the closure device is effected in a clamping plane that is horizontal. Of course we can consider any other provision. As the fixing of the base 3 on the first pan 1 can be made by any means other than rivets, such as screws. On the other hand, in an alternative embodiment of the invention, not described in the figures, the base is integrated with the pan of the shoe, that is to say that the lever is directly pivoted on the first pan 1.

  A lever 5 is pivotally mounted on the base 3 around a first hinge axis 6 so as to be able to make a half turn around this first hinge axis 6. The rotation of the lever 5 is limited in one of the directions by the stop 7.

  The first hinge axis 6 is not parallel to the plane tangent to the first panel 1 at the mounting location of the lever 5 on the base 3. In fact, there is substantially perpendicular.

  A cable 9 is fixed, at the first of its ends, SUF the lever 5 with the possibility of pivoting about a second axis of articulation 8. Means for holding the attachment element in a plane of are attached to the second end of the cable 9.

  These holding means comprise a slider 10 cooperating with a slide 11.

  The slider 10 comprises a main body and a stud 13, presumed to move in a slide 11. The end of the stud has a larger dimension than the slide 11 so that it is held there by a shoulder arranged in the latter.

  An attachment element constituted by a loop 12 is fixed on the slider 10 on the opposite side to the one where the cable 9 is fixed. The loop 12 is provided for air in engagement with an anchoring element consisting of a rack 14 which is attached to a second pan 2 of the shoe.

  Of course the fact that the fastening element is constituted in this embodiment by a loop and that the anchor element is constituted by a rack are limiting characteristics, and can be replaced loop and / or rack by equivalent elements.

  The presence of the slider 10 and the slide 11 ensures the positioning of the attachment element, even when it is not in engagement with the anchoring element. This is particularly interesting when the action of the closing device is carried out in a horizontal plane.

  The holding means of the attachment element may also be in the form of a loop fixed on the first panel and through which the cable passes.

  Figures 3 and 4 show the closure device of Figure 1, in the closed position. The lever 5 is half a turn and abuts against the stop 7. The movement of the lever 5 has generated a translation of the second panel 2 relative to the first panel 1.

  Figures 5 and 6 describe a ski boot equipped with closure devices according to a second and a third embodiment of the invention. The shoe 15 comprises a lower shell 16 and a collar 17. The bottom shell is closed by two closure devices according to the prior art, which will not be described in more detail in this application.

  The collar 17 is fixed on the lower shell 16 and has three closure means, namely two closure devices according to the invention and a lower leg strap 24 positioned at the top of the shoe 15. The two closure devices according to the invention will be called later in this description, the upper device 18 and the lower device 19.

  The upper device 18, which constitutes a second embodiment of the invention, comprises a base 31, fixed on a first side 1 of the collar. An upper lever 51 is pivotally mounted on the base 31 around a first axis of articulation so as to be able to make a half turn around this first axis of articulation. In this embodiment, this first hinge axis is called the upper axis 61. The rotation of the lever 51 is limited in one of the directions by the stop 7.

  An upper band 21 is fixed at the level of the first of se; ends, on the lever 51 with the possibility of pivoting about a second hinge pin 8, which is substantially parallel to the upper axis 61. A slider 10 is attached to the second end of the strip 21.

  As in the previous embodiment the slider 10 comprises a stud 13, designed to move in a slide 11. A hook 23 is fixed on the slider 10 on the opposite side to the one where the upper band 21 is fixed. The hook 23 It is intended to engage a rack 14, which is attached to a second pan 2 (the collar.

  The lower device 19, which constitutes a third embodiment of the invention, comprises a base 32, fixed on a first side 1 of the collar. In this embodiment, this first hinge axis will be called the lower axis 62. The rotation of the lever 52 is limited in one of the directions by the stop 7.

  A lower band 22 is fixed at the first of its ends to the lever 52 with the possibility of pivoting about a second hinge axis 8. A slider 10 is attached to the second end of the lower band 22 .

  As in the previous embodiment the slider 10 comprises a stud 13, designed to move in a slide 11. A hook 23 is fixed on the slider 10 on the opposite side to that where the lower strip 22 is fixed. The hook 23 is provided to engage with a rack 14, which is fixed on a second pan 2 of the collar.

  FIG. 7 represents a schematic sectional view of the collar in a vertical plane passing through the lower hinge axis 61 and the upper hinge axis 62. It can be seen that the hinge pin 61 is oriented according to a direction making with the plane tangent to the first pan 1 an angle substantially equal to 90. This has the consequence that the movement of the upper lever 51 is in a plane P1 which is substantially parallel to the plane tangent to the first panel 1 at the mounting location of the upper lever 51.

  The lower hinge axis 62 is, with the plane tangent to the first panel 1, an angle 13, which is not substantially equal to 90. This has the consequence that the movement of the lower lever 52 is in a plane P2 which is secant with the plane tangent to the first pan 1. The angle f3 is chosen such that the lower lever 52 is not obstructed in its movement by the upper lever 51. In practice, the angle f3 is less than 45.

  FIG. 8 describes a ski boot equipped with a closure device according to a fourth embodiment of the invention. The shoe 15 comprises a lower shell 16 and a collar 17. The low-decoque is closed by two closure devices according to the prior art.

  The collar 17 is fixed on the lower shell 16 and has two closure means, namely a closure device according to the invention and a lower-leg clamping device positioned at the top of the shoe 15.

  The lower leg clamping device 24 comprises a lace 25 and a blocker 27, both of which are fixed on a first side 1 of the collar 17. A loop 26 is fixed on the second side 2 of the collar 17. To ensure the clamping, the user must pass the lace 25 in the loop 26, then in the blocker 27. It can then generate a traction on the lace 25 with the handle 28. Such a lower leg clamp device can generate a much greater clamping force than a lower leg clamping strap as known in the prior art because, inter alia, the user actuates it by a vertical pull and the contact of the lace with the passer 26 does not occure that little friction.

  The closure device according to the fourth embodiment comprises a base 3, fixed on the collar 17. A lever 5 is pivotally mounted on this base 3 around a first hinge axis 6. The lever consists of a plate c have the end is turned over so that it can be used as an operating pallet for the lever 5.

  The first hinge axis 6 is oriented in a direction perpendicular to the first panel 1 at the location where the base 3 is fixed thereon.

  A tie rod 29 is mounted, at the first of its ends, pivoting on the lever 5 around a second hinge axis 8, parallel to the first hinge pin 6. A loop 12 is fixed to the second end of the tie rod 29 .

  The use of this shoe is particularly ergonomic to the extent that the manipulation of the lever 5 and the traction on the handle 28 are in a vertical year. On the other hand, the lower leg clamping device being particularly effective, it may be sufficient to put only one closure device on the collar.

  The invention is not limited to the few embodiments described here by way of example but also includes any equivalent embodiment.
