Abstract

The cap has a cover articulation device (3) that articulates a cover (2) on a base (1) between open and closed positions, where the cap is made by molding in closed position. A connection band (4) is connected to a ring that is supported on the base. A clamp provides a dead point to the device (3), when the cover is spaced from the base by pivoting during the opening of the cap. The clamp provides a spring effect to the device (3) when the cover exceeds the dead point while a user handles the cap. The cover is positioned in open or closed position, due to the spring effect. An independent claim is also included for an assembly comprising a container and a plastic cap.
