- A closure made of a plastic material of the type including a base (1), a closing cap (2) and an articulation device (3) made of one piece between the base (1) and the cap (2) characterised in that the articulation device (3) comprises:- a connection strip (4) connected on one side by the first end part (41) thereof to a ring (13) inserted on and around the base (1), and on the opposite side by the second end part (42) thereof to the cap (2), said connection strip (4) including a deformable thinned transversal area (43) defining at least substantially one axis (X) of the pivoting of the cap (2) with respect to the base (1),- and a bail (5) in the shape of a strip, located with respect to the connection strip (4) close to and at right angle therewith, in the axial direction of the closure and located outside the closure, said bail (5) being connected on one side to the first end part (41) of the connection strip (4) by a first thinned end part (51) deformable around a first transversal articulation axis, and connected on the opposite side to the second end part (42) of the connection strip (4) by a second thinned end part (52) deformable about a second transversal articulation axis, the shape and the dimensions of said bail (5) being selected so as to make it rigid enough as a whole but however deformable,and in that the bail (5) gives the articulation device:- a dead point when the cap (2) is spaced from the base by pivoting, upon the opening of the closure,- and a spring effect when the cap (2) has gone past said dead point,so that, when the user handles the closure and pivotingly spaces or approaches the latter (2) from/to the base (1), the cap (2) rapidly goes past the dead centre, then thanks to the spring effect, positions itself in an opening position or in a closing position,

- A closure according to claim 3, characterised in that the first (44) and/or the second (45) end parts of the connection strip (4) is curved with a concavity turned to the outside of the closure, with the face of the connection strip (4) opposite the bail (5) being substantially plane, in the configuration corresponding to the open closure.
- A closure according to claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the thickness of the first (44) and second (45) massive end parts of the connection strip (4) is of the order of equal to three to six times the thickness of the deformable thinned transversal area (43).
- A closure according to any one of claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the length of the connection strip (4) is of the order of equal to four to six times the thickness of the first (44) and the second (45) massive end parts thereof.
- A closure according to any one of claims 3 to 6, characterised in that the connection strip (4) has a length of the order of equal to 8mm, with the deformable thinned transversal area (43) the thickness of the order of 0.3mm and the first (44) and the second (45) massive end parts, an average thickness of the order of equal to 1mm.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the deformable thinned transversal area (43) of the connection strip (4) has a width of the order of equal to the thickness thereof.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection strip (4) and the bail (5) have the same transversal width of the order of equal to 1.5mm.
- A closure according to any one of claims 3 to 9, characterised in that the connection strip (4) is able to be in two extreme configurations, i.e. on the one hand a configuration corresponding to the closed closure, wherein it is folded, the first (44) and second (45) massive end parts being then located substantially at right angle with one or the other in the axial direction of the closure, and on the other hand a configuration corresponding to the open closure, wherein it is substantially plane, with the pivoting travel of the cap about the pivoting axis being of the order of equal to 180°.
- A closure according to claim 10, characterised in that the bail (5) has a general U shape, wherein the connection strip (4) is accommodated when the latter is in the configuration corresponding to the closed closure.
- A closure according to claim 10, characterised in that the bail (5) has a U shape, the branches of which are slightly flared.
- A closure according to claim 11 or 12, characterised in that the bail (5) has a U shape of a substantially constant thickness, except for the free end parts of the branches which are thinned and which form the first and second deformable thinned end parts (51, 52) of the bail (5) defining the first and the second transversal articulation axis.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bail (5) has a thickness of the order of equal to the thickness of the connection strip (4) between the first and second end parts thereof (51, 52), and the deformable thinned transversal zone (43) defining the pivoting axis (X) of the cap with respect to the base.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the thickness of the end parts of the branches of the bail (5) is of the order of equal to the thickness of the deformable thinned transversal zone (43) of the connection strip (4).
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the length of the end parts (51, 52) of the branches of the bail (5) is of the order of equal to the thickness thereof.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bail (5) has a length of the order of equal to 5mm and a thickness of the order of equal to 1mm, the free end parts (51, 52) of the branches having a thickness of the order of 0.3mm.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection strip (4) and the bail (5) are made of polypropylene or any other material, with the same deformation capacity.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection strip (4) and the bail (5) are made in one piece at least with the parts of the base (1) and the cap (2) of the closure which are adjoining the articulation device.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection strip (4), the bail (5), the base (1) and the cap (2) are made in one piece when the closure is in the closed position.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first end part (41) of the connection strip (4) is adjoining a ring (13) rigidly mounted on a part (14) of the base (1) of the closure forming the body (11), the body (11) and the ring (13) composing said base.
- A closure according to claim 21, characterised in that the body (11) includes a part for the fastening on the neck of a container, having a cylindrical shape provided with fastening means liable to cooperate with matching fastening means on the container, and the part forming a neck (12), the ring (13) being mounted in a groove (14) located between the fastening part and the part forming a neck (11).
- A closure according to claim 22, characterised in that the part of the body forming the neck (12) has a general truncated or pseudo-truncated shape.
- A closure according to claim 21, 22 or 23, characterised in that the body (11) is provided with a thread for the fastening to the neck of the container and a tamper-proof ring (15) with bridges or equivalent frangible devices.
- A closure according to any one of claims 21 to 24, characterised in that the ring (13) whereon the connection strip (4) is fastened includes at least one frangible connection bridge or an equivalent device (16) for the connection with the cap.
- A closure according to claim 25, characterised in that the frangible bridge (16) is located diametrally opposite the articulation device.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the cap (2) includes a finger-ergonomic shape (21), more particularly the user's thumb, for opening the closure, diametrally opposite the articulation device.
- A closure according to claim 27, characterised in that the ergonomic shape (21) of the cap (2) includes a curved truncated side face with a concavity turned towards the outside of the closure and a part protruding to the transversal direction diametrally opposite the articulation device, on the end transversal face opposite the ring (13).
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the dead centre is reached after a travel of the order of on 90°.
- A closure according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the cap (2) has a diameter close to the diameter of the part (18) of the base (1) whereon it is positioned for the closing of the closure in order to guarantee a sealing closing of the closure by a radial tightening.
