Abstract

The tube, made from a transparent plastic material designed to contain tobacco or a cigar, has its open end sealed by a stopper with a cavity measuring 12 mm in diameter and 12 mm deep containing a plug of a moisture repellent foam material impregnated with a humidifying agent made from propylene glycol and sterile dematerialized water. The tube itself is some 22 cm long by 3 cm in outer diameter and 24 mm inside diameter.

  The invention relates to a humidifier plug for plexiglass tubes containing tobacco, cigars or other products. There are humidifying tubes for humidors, called humidors. They use liquid compression techniques according to the humility rate of the cabinet; manual or automatic compressions.

  The device according to the invention makes it possible to moisten tobacco-containing tubes, cigars or other products requiring a stable moisture content.

  This humidifier is in the tube cap, which must be sealed.
