Abstract

The T slide pivots about the hinge (1) on the case base and, when opened, allows sliding grip of the base (2) between the sides of two fingers (typically middle and third finger) and the T handle bar. The base of the T can have a straight or curved form.

Description

The present invention relates to a device intended to facilitate the

  transport of cameras and in particular disposable cameras. Cameras are conventionally hung on the shoulder, neck or wrist for transport. More recently, the lightening and reduction in volume of certain cameras (in particular single-use cameras) have made it possible to transport them in a pocket of clothing. However, each of these modes of transport has a drawback: around the neck, on the shoulder or on the wrist, the device tends to swing; in a pocket, it may deform the garment and it takes

space.

  The invention provides a new transport solution using i5 a small rod of small diameter substantially T-shaped articulated on

  one side of the camera body.

  The leg of the T is placed between two fingers of one hand, preferably between the middle finger and the ring finger, and the bar of the T rests on the first phalanges of these fingers. In this way, the device is returned

  secured to the hand without having to hold it for transport.

  The leg of the T-rod is articulated at its base on one side of the housing via an axis parallel to the bar of the T so that it can be folded flat against the device when the device is not in use . The articulation point of the rod on the device is preferably located on the back of the device, substantially in the central position. T leg has length

  about 2.5 cm and the T bar a length of 3 to 4 cm.

  When the rod is unfolded and a finger is placed on each side of the leg of the T between the back of the device and the bar of the T, the inside of the hand turned towards the device, it holds everything alone by hand. The T bar retains it by resting on the first phalanxes. This bar is

  held in its position by the joints which prevent it from sliding.

  The tips of the fingers are slightly folded against the device, according to a

  natural gesture, which helps to retain the device without making any effort.

  The fingers mobilized by the device are preferably the middle and ring fingers but it is also possible to use the major-index pair or the annular-small pair. You can also change hands because the device -2- is ambidextrous. All this allows the device to be transported from various

  manners, which contributes to the comfort of the user.

  With this new device, the thumb and index finger of the hand carrying the device are available to hold another object, except in the case where the leg of the T is slid between the middle finger and the index finger. The device is transported without contraction of the fingers, therefore without gripping effort. It does not swing during transport. The device is easy to detach from the hand which

  carry it when you want to take a photo or change position.

  According to one embodiment, the bar of the T is flat in shape for more comfort. It is then placed, in the folded position, along the edge formed by the back of the device and the base of the device in order to better retract. The T bar can also be curved on either side of the jamb to better conform to the shape of the fingers. Its inner face, that which rests on the phalanges, can be coated with a material

non-slip.

  There are ring or loop systems in which one or more fingers are passed to transport an object. However, such systems do not have the characteristics or the advantages of the T-rod. Since the loop cannot be adapted to the different sizes of hands and fingers, it sometimes turns out to be too narrow and therefore uncomfortable, sometimes too wide and therefore not very capable of retaining the device without effort of the hand. On the other hand, mouth systems generally do not release the thumb and index finger so that they can grab another object. Finally, it is more difficult to separate your fingers from a loop than from a T-shaped support to take

a photo for example.

  The T-shaped rod represents an original solution offering more convenience and comfort to the user. It can be compared, by its practicality and its simplicity, to the staple of a pen. It allows you to hang a camera in one hand like you hang a pen on a pocket of clothing. This new device according to the invention applies to cameras whose weight and volume are sufficiently reduced to be able to be transported in this way, in particular to single-use cameras. CLAIM   1) Camera transport device characterized in that it consists of a substantially T-shaped rod articulated at its base   on one side of the device housing.
