Abstract

The protection forms an external lining for the inserted packet of cigarette papers which is held by narrow strips. A loop enables it to be fixed to a support.

Description

 The present invention relates to a new device for protecting and personalizing packets of rolling papers for cigarettes with unit print.

 The new device consists in adapting an external lining to the present packages adaptable to all formats.

 With protective and aesthetic claims, the protective package of rolling sheets aims to compensate for the fragility of the products currently on the market. At the same time, the package protector personalizes the user's product.

 This product would therefore introduce a new concept responding to a market need. This would radically avoid waste and unnecessary expense for the consumer due to product alterations and the impossibility by the latter to recognize his property.

 This device allows simple, efficient, light, portable and aesthetic packaging that does not affect the unit printing method any more than the package folding technique.

 In addition, the possibility of perfecting the product lies in the fact that, accompanied by a passer-by, it can be fixed to a support and thus avoid the possible loss of the package.

 A necessary, useful and aesthetic object, the consumer will use it personally and daily.

 The paper constituting the sheets to be rolled retains its physical properties only if it is stored in a dry atmosphere and isolated from the outside in a protective storage of the hygrometric parameters. Each package of rolling papers comprises a relatively large number, from 50 to 100 sheets on average. However, the packaging remains minimal and very unreliable.

 Having the monopoly of the market, the producers, while keeping to a minimum cost of production increase their profits by an overconsumption due not to the increase in demand but to the observed wastage.

 The consumer therefore knows a definite need to efficiently and easily package the package of sheets. He will easily find the usefulness of the new concept in the possibility finally found of protecting his bundle of leaves from tears, folds and variations in humidity. The use of thinner and less toxic paper would then become possible in countries with a non-temperate climate.

 On the practical side, any consumer can see the lack of innovation in a partitioned market. The oligopoly system does not allow the consumer to have access to a real choice other than the quality of the paper. The new concept is not, to improve the quality of the paper but precisely, to ensure that the paper itself is protected. The leaf protector would perfectly meet consumer expectations: less loss and more personalization of the package without any inconvenience.

 Responding to the needs mentioned and explained above, it can come in various forms, first from an aesthetic point of view it can be rigid or flexible, in different colors or even be an advertising medium. It consists of a flexible case forming an outer envelope with a flap of the same shape as the package (axis A in FIG. 1). The dimensions of the sheet protector will adapt proportionally to the dimensions of said package.

It has the following characteristics:
An envelope containing the format and geometric structure of the whole sheet package
by folding in the same way (axis A in Figures 1 and 2).

The internal dimensions of the new product must correspond to the dimensions
external of the package.

Minimum clearance ensuring easy insertion and secure hold while allowing
folding of the assembly by means of the flap of the package guard (n09 in figure 1).

 The leaf pack must be inserted open from the side of the leaves in the leaf pack protector opened from below the tab 4 (fig. 1); then under the tab 2 (fig. 1) to the bottom 1. The flexible, leafless part of the package is then inserted into the flap of the package protector by the tab 6 (fig.l) to the bottom 7. Once with the package of leaves in its protective case, the original grooves of the unit print remain accessible through spaces 3 and 5 designed for this purpose (fig. 1). The said now packaged package becomes portable on the belt by the passer-by (grooves A and A ′ in FIG. 1).

The thickness and opacity of the different building materials will protect from harmful external events (heat, bending, humidity, sticking).

Exploitation of surfaces (more than 70 cm2) as advertising space, information ...

All options contributing to wider utility and diversification, to better
efficiency of the device and better aesthetics (mirror, storage pockets
leaves, match scraper, electronic game, give the leaves to roll a side of
distinguished...)
The industrial manufacturing of the product can be carried out in various ways depending on the different materials: Manual manufacturing for high-end cases (leather, velvet ...).

 . Mass production (production line, industrial process) for plastic cases (thermoplastics, etc.).

Figure 1 shows the unfolded one-piece device of the invention.

 Figure 2 shows the connected and sealed device ready for use.

 The new device for protecting the rolling leaf pack is therefore intended for any user wishing to roll cigarettes safely and easily in the best possible conditions. This covering can be called a leaf protector as a registered trademark.

 The proposed device is open to industrial production in a sector where thin gummed paper is unusable. This offers an attractive character as well industrial, advertising as media for the possible exploiters of the patent.
