Abstract

The shuttlecock has a support (2) fixed to the base of its feathers (1). A spring (3) is fixed to the bottom of the support and a convex sole (4) is fixed to the base of the spring. The spring can be conical or cylindrical and can be made in steel or plastics material. The support can be made of cork, a plastics material or wood. The height of the shuttlecock is about 10cm and its weight is about 6g.
