Abstract

A device, to be marketed under the name 'Stand up', consists of a tube of an aseptic plastic material, having a proximal section (2) with an end (5) shaped to fit round the vagina, an intermediate flexible section (3), and a tip (4) with an outlet (6) designed to promote a steady stream. The proximal section has a non-slip outer surface, and the flexible section is in the form of a bellows.

Description

The present invention relates to a device which allows a woman to urinate while standing.

The function of this device is the flow of urinary fluid in a harmonious and hygienic way from the urinary opening via the external environment.

The evacuation of urine in women requires a different anatomical position than that of men, two techniques are commonly used squatting and putting on his seat.

The problem is that because of her anatomy, the woman is restricted to uncomfortable positions, exposing the mucous membranes of the genital area to many diseases.

The device according to the invention is to remedy this drawback. It has a head, a body, and a distal end, the three parts are intimately united. The device comprises according to a first characteristic a head or a proximal end of contact with the periphery of the urinary orifice, according to a second characteristic there is the body which has a modular inclination, and according to a third characteristic a distal element which allows the evacuation of urine.

The object of the invention which will be marketed under the name "Stand up" is characterized by three distinct inseparable parts, each having its own function.

The proximal part is the gripping element, it is normally held by the index finger at its lower part and the thumb at its lower part, this element is rigid in tubular shape, of ovoid section. Its proximal orifice has a flexible stop allowing contact with the portour of the urinary orifice. This element is followed by the body characterized by a flexible corrugated ovoid tubular shape allowing it to be orientable along the three axes. This element, followed by the distal end, is tubular in shape, its terminal end is rounded and is provided with an orifice allowing the evacuation of urine.

Figure 1 shows the device according to the invention.

With reference to this drawing, the device (1) is of tubular, hollow, ovoid shape.

The device comprises a head (2) having at its proximal part a stop (5), a body (3) articulated and orientable, a distal end (4).

The average length of the device (1) is of the order of a decimeter. The head (2) is graspable by a simple pressure between the thumb and the index finger the device (1) is maintained in the saggital plane, in this position a slight pressure along the saggital axis, anteroposteriorly allows the stop (5) to make contact with the periphery of the urinary orifice, this stop (5) has the function of ensuring sealing. The body (3) has the function of being orientable, its shape is tubular, hollow and ringed ovoid, this latter feature allows the body (3) to be orientable along the three axes of space.

The distal end (4) is rounded and has at its terminal end an orifice of small section for evacuating the urine. The interior of the distal part (4) is characterized by a helical sculpture allowing the urine to be channeled to the orifice (6) so the urine is evacuated in a harmonious jet.

The device according to the invention is particularly intended for women to allow them to urinate while standing.

The present invention according to its method of simple use, must be accessible to the majority of women, it must be marketed in supermarkets, in the feminine hygiene departments.

Preferably, the body or medial part (3) has a form of bellows. The abutment (5) is made of sanitized plastic. The proximal part (2) has a non-slip exterior structure.

Claims (5)

1) Device allowing the flow of urine emitted by a woman in a standing position characterized by the assembly of three inseparable elements: the proximal part (2), the rnedial part (3), the distal part (4). 2) Device according to claim -1- characterized by its ovoid head provided with a stop (5) in sanitized plastic which allows sealing between the latter and the periphery of the urinary orifice during their contact.  3 Device according to claim -1- which allows the proximal part (2) to be gripped characterized by an external non-slip sculputure. 4) Device according to claim -1- which allows the body (3) to be orientable in space and characterized by its flexible ringed shape like a bellows. 5) Device according to claim -1- characterized by an internal spiral sculpture of the distal part (4) allowing the evacuation of urine through the orifice (6) in a harmonious jet.
