Abstract

The box, of cardboard or other material, is made from a single panel which is cut out and folded into the shape of a case. It has a bottom (10) and top (12), top and bottom side walls (16,18;14), and end walls (24, 26) with partial cut-outs (28) allowing the bottom side wall to pivot when the box is opened. The panel has two end flaps (34,36) which fold in to make a carrying handle, the first (34) having an open trapezoid cut-out (38), and the second having a slot (22) and a tongue (42,44) to engage with it.
