Abstract

L'invention concerne un verre de borosilicate de couleur rose dont la composition comprend, en % en poids sur la base des oxydes, 75 à 85% de SiO2 , plus de 10% de B2 O3 , une proportion totale de Na2 O et de K2 O de 2 à 7%, et de 1 à 5% d'Al2 O3 , et dont le coefficient de dilatation linéaire entre 20degré C et 300degré C est compris entre 30 et 55x10- 7 /degré K, caractérisé en ce qu'il contient, en outre, de 0,05 à 1,00% en poids de manganèse, calculé sous la forme de MnO2 , et en ce que le verre a un degré d'oxydation tel qu'il présente une chromaticité, à une épaisseur de 4 mm et pour l'Illuminant C, comprise dans les limites suivantes: x = 0,3115 à 0,4200 y = 0,3170 à 0,3600 Y = 15 à 92%. Utilisation pour la production d'articles de cuisson d'aliments.
