Abstract

A bottle comprising a wick holder device (10) having a first end (11) which extends inside the cavity (21) of a closure plug (20) and which comprises first means (13) designed to interact intimately with second means (22) arranged in the inner surface of the cavity (21) of the closure plug (20) so as to make the wick holder device (10) solid with the closure plug (20). The wick holder device is thus solidly attached to the closure plug which remains fixed into the wick holder when it is in the in-use position, partially extracted out of the bottle.

ATMOSPHERE BOTTLE
The present invention relates to a bottle for room product. It is a bottle to be placed in a room in order to propagate a desired odor by distributing a volatile ambient product carrying this odor.

A bottle solving this problem is known. This includes a closure cap and a wick holder device on which a wick is wound. This is impregnated with deodorant liquid. It is sufficient, after opening the bottle by removing the closure cap, to pull on the wick holder device so that the wick is extracted from the bottle over a determined height so as to allow the diffusion of the ambient product from the portion extracted from the wick.

The known bottle has a drawback, however.

To obtain the desired effect of deodorizing the room, you must remove the cap from the bottle to allow it to open. Thus, throughout the required period of deodorization, the stopper must be placed in a place where it does not clutter, therefore generally away from the bottle. This has the consequence that the cap is generally lost and that we can no longer close the bottle after use.

Another disadvantage of the known bottle lies in the fact that to remove the wick holder, the user must dip the fingers of the hand in the deodorant liquid. In addition to the fact that it gives a rather unpleasant sensation, it can also constitute a real discomfort for users with certain allergies and in whom the act of immersing the fingers in the product could have the effect of unwanted skin reactions.

The invention aims to remedy these drawbacks and to this end, it provides a bottle which has a neck ending in a circular opening closed by a removable closure cap having the shape of an inverted bowl whose cavity is adapted. to accommodate the free end of said neck. The bottle includes a wick holder device intended to receive a wick capable of being impregnated with an ambient product contained in the bottle. The wick holder device extends into the neck and inside the body of the bottle so that one end of the wick enters the ambient product contained in the bottle, the wick holder device being arranged to be able to be moved along the neck of the bottle. According to the invention, the free end of the wicking device, which is opposite to the end provided with the wick, extends inside the cavity of the closure cap and comprises first means arranged to cooperate intimately with second means arranged in the inner surface of the cavity of the closure cap so as to make the wicking device integral with the closure cap.

Thus, thanks to this arrangement of the wicket device, the plug can be held on the wicket, even when the latter is in the service position, that is to say when a portion of the wick holder and the wick is extracted from the bottle. The risk of losing the plug is thus eliminated.

What is more, the intimate cooperation between the wick holder device and the stopper also makes it possible to avoid the user having to dip their fingers in the deodorant product in order to be able to extract the wick holder device from the bottle. This eliminates the discomfort caused by skin contact with the product and especially the risks of skin reaction caused by a form of intolerance of the skin to the deodorant liquid in the event of direct contact of the skin with the generally hyperconcentrated product.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first and second means can be clipped to one another. This allows a particularly easy and quick connection to and / or detachment between the wick holder and the plug.

According to a more advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first means comprise at least one plate extending perpendicular to the plane formed by the wick holder device at the end of a support rod for the plate, and the second means comprise an annular groove extending coaxially with respect to the longitudinal axis of the plug, the walls of the groove extending substantially parallel to the axis of the plug.

Advantageously, in the outer wall of the groove is arranged a peripheral groove concentric with the groove and opening directly on the latter. This measure considerably reinforces the safety of clipping.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, over a portion of the height of the neck and from the base thereof, provision is made for a practically symmetrical constriction of the neck so as to leave only one neck section with practically constant width on the part of the aforementioned neck In addition, each of the aforementioned rods is provided, at a predetermined distance from the first aforementioned means, with a stop lug extending on either side of the plane of the wick holder device, which lug is designed to be press the neck constriction. The appropriate arrangement of locking pins makes it possible to maintain the first aforementioned means at a predetermined distance from the neck of the neck of the bottle. This has the consequence that said first means can cooperate intimately, and without hindrance, with the aforementioned second means.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wick holder device consists of a flexible strip, the region of a second end, opposite to said first end, is provided with at least one external lateral shoulder stop. This shoulder is intended to abut against the inner end of the neck of the bottle in the event of partial extraction of the wick holder device so as to prevent it from being able to be pulled out completely from the bottle inadvertently.

Advantageously, a practically central cut is arranged in the region of the end opposite the aforementioned free end. It is thus possible to wrap the wick more securely around the wick holder by passing the wick through said opening. As a result, lateral movement of the wick is hampered.

Even more advantageously, a practically central passage is provided between the abovementioned cutout and the edge of the end of the wick-holder device, opposite its free end. This passage interrupts the edge and thus considerably reduces the rigidity of the end zone between the cut and said edge.

This reduction in rigidity allows convenient total extraction of the wick holder device from the bottle.

This allows the bottle to be refilled with deodorant liquid as well as the replacement of the wick holder device and / or the wick if necessary.

A particular embodiment of the bottle according to the invention is described below in more detail with the aid of the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 shows an exemplary bottle 1 having a neck 2 ending in a circular opening 3 closed by a removable stopper 20 having the shape of an inverted bowl. The bottle 1 contains a perfumed product 4 in which a wick 6 dips carried by a wick holder 10 adjustable in height along the neck. The wick 6 is made of a material which is permeated by the scented product.

The cap 20 makes it possible to open and close the bottle depending on whether or not it is desired to perfume the room in which it is placed. It may indeed prove useful to be able to close the bottle, for example when young children or people allergic to the perfumed product are near the bottle.

This shows that it is important to rule out any risk of the cap being lost or lost. When the bottle is opened to deodorize or perfume a room, it is therefore necessary that the stopper remains in the immediate vicinity of the bottle without however disturbing the environment or cluttering. For this, in accordance with the invention, the wick holder 10 is made integral with the closure cap 20. For this purpose, the upper end 11 of the wick holder 10 which emerges from the neck of the bottle extends inside. of the cavity 21 of the plug 20 and is arranged to cooperate with the plug.

FIG. 2 illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the wick holder 10 according to the invention. At its end 11, the device has two legs 12 arranged to cooperate with the plug 20. In order to allow a good grip of the plug 20 on the wick holder 10, each tab 12 ends in a flattened element 13 in the form of a tray. extending in a plane practically perpendicular to the legs so as to form a clipping element intended to allow the clipping of the plug onto the wick holder. Each plate 13 is intended to engage in a circular groove 22 (fig. 1) formed in the interior surface of the cavity 21 of the plug. The width of the throat 22 of the stopper is provided so as to allow an irreproachable grip of the stopper on the plates 13. As shown in the enlarged view of FIG. 3, the outer wall 25 of the throat 22 has a predetermined height from the base surface 23 of the plug a recess 24 formed by a rounded recess in the inner face of the outer wall 25 so as to allow secure clipping of the plates 13 in the plug 20. In addition, the outer wall 25 of the groove 22, which extends substantially parallel to the central axis of the plug, has a reduced thickness at its free end so as to allow a more convenient spacing of the wall during clipping. It should be noted that the arrangement of this outer wall 25 of the groove 22 forms a second groove 26 making it possible to provide an internal thread 27 of the stopper at the level of the throat to screw the stopper 20 onto the bottle in the event of closure of the stopper -this.

 I1 is clear from FIG. 1 that each tab 11 of the wick holder 10 is provided with stop lugs 14 which are attached to the lugs 12 at a predetermined distance from the plate elements 13. The above-mentioned lugs 14 each extend in part and on the other side of the wick holder. The pins 14 have a length such that during the introduction of the wick holder 10 into the bottle 1, these pins 14 come to bear on a throttle 5 of the neck of the bottle thus forming a stop.

Throttling of the neck of the bottle consists in reducing the normal diameter of the latter from a traditional circular configuration to a section with a substantially rectangular width. The width of the constricted neck is between half and a third of the diameter of the neck in its unreduced part.

Thus the stop lugs 14 are arranged at a height such that the lower edge of the wick holder 10 introduced into the bottle arrives at a predetermined distance above the bottom of the bottle, preferably to a depth equal to at least three-quarters of the height of the bottle as shown in Figure 1, so that there is enough space between the lower edge of the wick holder and the bottom of the bottle to allow the wick 6 to be wrapped around the door -wick. On the other hand, the stop lugs 14 are arranged so that the clipping plates 13 can engage with the stopper 20 when the latter is placed on the bottle.

The clip elements 13 are flattened and extend in an oriented plane practically perpendicular to the legs 12, thus forming a tray. The elements 13 are also made of flexible synthetic material.

The contour of the clipping plates 13 has a shape adapted to allow the clipping of the plug 20 on the wick holder, for example the shape of a circular segment delimited by a cord, the latter being oriented in a direction perpendicular to a plane containing the wick holder 10. The above-mentioned plate shape is illustrated in FIG. 3.

It is perfectly possible to provide only one lug 12. In this case, the lug can be arranged centrally with respect to the wick holder. At its free end, the tab then has a clip element 13 of annular shape which is attached to the tab, for example from the inner edge of the above-mentioned annular element.

The embodiment of the wick holder 10 illustrated in FIG. 2 has a generally lamellar appearance, elongated and symmetrical longitudinally. This embodiment allows a more stable winding of the wick by passing it between the two tabs during its winding in the longitudinal direction of the support. The two tabs prevent the wick from being moved laterally before sliding from its coiled position, for example when the wick holder is handled too roughly.

Furthermore, the two-legged construction provides a pinching effect between the wick holder and the plug when the latter is closed, which increases the safety of clipping in the event of closure. The shape and dimension of each element of the plate 13 are perfectly suited to the annular groove 22 and in particular to the groove 24 in the outer wall 25 of the groove (FIG. 3).

Returning to FIG. 2, it can be seen that, in a lower zone opposite the zone intended to cooperate with the plug, the wick holder 10 has a shoulder 15 on its lateral edges. The shoulders 15 have a dimension such that they prevent any untimely or accidental withdrawal of the wick holder from the bottle.

However, thanks to the flexibility of the wick holder and the non-excessive narrowing of the neck constriction, it is possible to completely remove the wick holder from the bottle by applying a slight twist to it when removing it. The complete removal of the wick holder is necessary in order to allow the wick to be renewed in the event of its wear or even to allow convenient refilling of the bottle with ambient liquid.

The bending of the support is facilitated by the application of a discontinuity of material in the middle part of the wick holder. The discontinuity of material is effected, for example, by a displacement of material, similar to stamping, in a longitudinal center line of the support in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the wick support. The support thus has a groove at the height of the aforementioned line on one face and a rib on its other face of the support, the rib and the groove being complementary.

A practically central cutout 16 with respect to the longitudinal axis is advantageously provided in the aforementioned lower zone of the wick holder (practically at the height of the shoulders 15) over a width preferably at least equal to the distance between the legs 12. Thanks at this cutout 16, it is possible to ensure excellent stability of the wick in its winding position on its support 10 by passing the wick through said cutout 16 during its winding.

In addition, a passage 17 is provided between the cutout 16 and the lower edge of the wick holder so as to considerably reduce the rigidity of the lower region of the wick holder. This is particularly useful when it is necessary to extract the wick holder 10 from the bottle.

Advantageously, a second opening 18 is also provided in the upper zone of the wick holder. More particularly, this second opening is for example formed by two cutouts 18A and 18B connected together by a passage 19. This second opening 18 makes it possible to initiate the winding of the wick, for example from the lower cutout 188.

With the wick holder device integral with the closure cap in accordance with the invention, it is possible to unscrew the cap and gradually extract the wick holder from the bottle without separating the plug from the wick holder, which allows adjustment in particularly convenient height of the wick holder device while avoiding finger contact with the product contained in the bottle. In addition, the cap is captive and it is always easy to screw it back on and close the bottle.

The embodiment described in the foregoing is an example given by way of illustration and the invention is in no way limited to this example. Any modification, any variant and any equivalent arrangement must be considered to be within the scope of the invention.

Claims (10)

1. Bottle for room product with a neck (2) ending in a circular opening (3) closed by a removable closure cap (20) having the shape of an inverted bowl whose cavity (2) is suitable for housing the free end of said neck (2), the bottle comprising a wick holder device (10) intended to receive a wick (19) capable of being impregnated with an ambient product contained in the bottle, said holder device wick (10) extending into the neck (2) and inside the body of the bottle so that one end of the wick enters the ambient product contained in the bottle, the wicking device being arranged to be able to be moved along the neck of the bottle, characterized in that a first end of the wick holder device (10) extends inside the cavity (21) of the closure cap (20) and comprises first means (13) arranged to cooperate intimately with second means (22) arranged in the inner surface of the cavity (21) of the closure plug (20) so as to make the wick holder device (10) integral with the closure plug (20). 2. Bottle according to claim 1, characterized in that said first and second means (13), respectively (22) are clipable with each other. 3. Bottle according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the means (13) comprise at least one plate extending perpendicular to the plane formed by the wick holder device (10) at the end of a support rod (12) of the plate and in that the means (22) comprise an annular groove extending coaxially with respect to the longitudinal axis of the plug, the walls (25) of the groove extending practically parallel to the axis of the plug. 4. Bottle according to claim 3, characterized in that in the outer wall of the groove is arranged a peripheral groove (24) concentric with the groove (22) and opening directly thereon. 5. Bottle according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that over part of the height of the neck (2) and from the base thereof is provided a practically symmetrical constriction (5) of the neck so as not to leave a neck section of practically constant width over the aforementioned part of the neck, in that the wick-carrying device (10) is provided, at a predetermined distance from the aforementioned means (13), with a stop lug (14) extending on either side of the plane of the wick holder device, which lug (14) is arranged to bear on the neck (5) of the neck. 6. Bottle according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the wick holder device (10) consists of a flexible strip provided on each of its lateral edges with at least one lateral stop shoulder (15) arranged so as to abut against the inner end of the neck of the bottle during partial extraction of the wick holder device. 7.
