Abstract

Lamp support for connecting a lamp to an electrical cable possessing two conducting cores surrounded by an insulating sheath, comprising: - a body made of an insulating material containing two pistons, at both ends, which are intended to connect the cable to the lamp; in order to do this, a first end passes through the sheath, one of the cores and once again the sheath in order to project beyond the cable, and the second end comes into contact with the lamp, - a cover made of an insulating material rigidly attached to the body, arranged opposite the projecting ends and intended to keep the pistons in the cable. The cover (3) possesses two cavities (9, 9') surrounded by walls (10, 10') and forming two open housings in which the projecting ends (4A) of the pistons (4) are contained; these projecting ends are thus separated from each other and from the external medium. The present invention applies to festoon lighting.

On connaît actuellement de nombreux supports de lampes utilisés dans les éclairages en guirlande. Ce support est constitué d'un corps de base en un matériau isolant comme le polyamide et d'un couvercle également en un matériau isolant. Le corps de base est muni de deux éléments de contact, appelés "pistons", comportant deux extrémités et destinés à raccorder électriquement les bornes d'une lampe d'éclairage respectivement à deux âmes conductrices d'un câble électrique d'alimentation. A cet effet, une première de ces deux extrémités est pointue et transperce de part en part le câble d'alimentation. Cette première extrémité est alors saillante au-delà du câble d'alimentation. La seconde de ces extrémités est reliée électriquement à l'une des bornes de la lampe de manière à établir le contact entre cette borne et l'âme conductrice reliée à la première extrémité. Le couvercle vient ensuite coiffer la base ainsi raccordée au câble de manière à maintenir fermement les pistons dans les âmes conductrices correspondantes. - un couvercle en un matériau isolant solidaire dudit corps, se trouvant en regard desdites premières extrémités saillantes et destiné à maintenir fermement lesdits pistons dans ledit câble, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle comporte au moins deux alvéoles distinctes entourées de parois les délimitant et constituant au moins deux logements ouverts en regard dudit câble, dans lesquels, lorsque ledit couvercle est monté, se trouvent respectivement enfermées lesdites premières extrémités saillantes desdits pistons de sorte que lesdites extrémités sont séparées l'une de l'autre et du milieu extérieur.
