Abstract

Safety locking device, particularly for trailer hitches (1), including a plane support (4) to which are attached two parallel plates (23, 24) defining between them an open free space for the fitting, between the plates, in a guide (10) carried by the support, of a movable spindle (pin) (12) capable of immobilising with the hitch the drawbar (2, 3) of a trailer, this drawbar being engaged in an open housing (9) formed under the support, between a bearing heel (7) defining the bottom of this housing and the spindle passing through the latter. According to the invention, this device is characterised in that at least one (23) of the two plates includes through holes (25, 26) for the two branches (27, 28) of a transverse pin (29) for locking the spindle, this pin trapping between its branches a rod (14) bent over at right angles, secured to the spindle and subject to the action of a spring (21) mounted coaxially with this rod so as permanently to return the spindle into the housing of the support and immobilise it in this position by virtue of the locking pin, the removal of the spindle from the housing and the release of the drawbar being permitted only after the pin has been withdrawn.

La présente invention est relative à un dispositif de verrouillage de sécurité pour attelage de remorques, en particulier pour porte-conteneurs ou engins de transport de fret ou de bagages dans les aéroports.
