Abstract

Method for packaging coffee or another similar product under vacuum, characterised in that: the amount of ground coffee corresponding to a specific number of cups is placed in a porous paper filter (1); the two curved upper edges (2) of the filter (1) are folded over on themselves; the filter is closed by means of an embossing or the like (3) along the fold thus formed; and the filter thus prefilled and closed is placed in a package under vacuum.
