The subject of the invention is a device for fixing spinal osteosynthesis rods on pedicular screws (1) of the type comprising a head (4) in the shape of a tuning fork defining two branches (4a, 4b) which receive between them a rod (6) which is to be fixed and which is blocked in its seat (5) by a binding screw (7), characterised in that it additionally comprises, engaged on the rod (6) and interposed between the binding screw (7) and the base of the said seat (5), a split ring (9) whose opposite external faces (10) directed towards the said binding screw (7) and the said base are convex and are received in complementary concave surfaces (11, 12) formed on the end of the binding screw (7) and the base of the seat (5) receiving the rod (6), the said ring (9) permitting, before tightening of the screw (7), a certain angular play of the rod (6) with respect to the axis of the screw (1).
